After fully practicing Sunday Jimmy Butler experienced a setback with his bruised left knee that sidelined him for the Bulls' morning shootaround and exhibition game against the Bucks on Monday. That's the third straight game the new starting shooting guard has missed after playing through the original injury against the Wizards in Rio de Janeiro. But for anyone worried about Butler missing the Oct. 29 regular-season opener in Miami the third-year swingman offered some reassuring words. "There's no way I'm missing that game" Butler said. Beyond his typical "next man up" and "more than enough to win" proclamations coach Tom Thibodeau continues to try to paint a positive portrait about the myriad injuries. Joakim Noah (groin) and Kirk Hinrich (concussion) also sat Monday. "You're starting to get closer to the season so you want to establish your rotation" Thibodeau said. "But we have to prepare ourselves for every possible situation. This has been a good opportunity for Taj (Gibson) to get extended minutes and some at center. Mike Dunleavy has had an opportunity to start. And I've liked seeing Derrick (Rose) and Kirk together." The latter look came before Hinrich smashed his head on Erik Murphy's leg and then the floor during the fourth quarter of Friday's victory over the Pacers. Hinrich who said he has suffered concussions in both the NBA and college is undergoing daily testing per league protocol before getting cleared. "I'm feeling much better" Hinrich said. "I'm just doing what they're telling me to do. I'll hopefully get to do some cardio and stuff soon and go from there."
