#NBABallot Kevin Garnett Paul Pierce Rajon Rondo Jason Terry and Jeff Green — Jared Sullinger (@Jared_Sully0) December 26, 2012 I'd say most people probably have Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett on their ballots, but I'm not sure the other three have came up in reports of being high in the voting. Honestly, Paul Pierce deserves to be up there. Either way, this is an awesome All Star ballot that I'll support all the way. Sully knows how to get on the good side of the vets, and perhaps some day he'll be on an All-Star team himself. Sullinger hasn't been starting or getting big minutes consistently, but he's already shown that his falling to number 21 in the draft was a mistake. That's a testament to him. Some are making the argument that Sullinger should be starting, and it's hard to disagree with them. He's one of if not the best rebounder on the team and showed throughout Summer League and in stretches this season that he can score too. The Celt...

KG: C's gave Clips too much respect

Kevin Garnett had some thoughts on the Celtics losing big to the Clippers, going so far as to say the team gave them too much respect.

Kevin Garnett: “He just jacked my shorts”

In the Celtics early start on Christmas Day, CSN viewers were surrounded with holiday spirit, including anecdotal stories of KG buying Scal a Louis Vuitton suitcase, and Keyon Dooling dishing out holiday cheer like it he was playing point guard again.  Then things became reminiscent of the last meeting between Brooklyn and Boston when Gerald Wallace and Kevin Garnett got a little...

Celtics 93, Nets 76: A nice stocking stuffer

For Christmas, at least, the Celtics played well. Jared Sullinger solidified himself as my hero, Rajon Rondo continued to show more aggression as a scorer, Gerald Wallace may or may not have wanted to brawl, Deron Williams (and Joe Johnson) used to be a lot better, and I don’t know if I said this before, but Sullinger’s my hero.I would write more, but I’m going to see Les Miserables...

Rondo, Celtics beat Nets on Christmas

Rajon Rondo scored 19 points in his first full game against Brooklyn this season, and the Boston Celtics beat the Nets 93-76 on Tuesday in another game with some heated moments between the division rivals. Rondo, hurt in the first meeting and thrown out of the second after shoving Nets forward Kris Humphries into the courtside seats, outplayed counterpart Deron Williams and helped...

Celtkicks: Anta Claus delivers my KG3′s

First-off, sorry for anyone who could not tune in to the live stream. I had not used UStream in over a year, and will never use it again. Now on to bigger and better things… Kevin Garnett’s 3rd signature shoe with Anta, the “KG3″ was released only in China on December 1st. Anta still does not have a US distribution deal, so if you don’t live in China, they’re very hard...

Doc Rivers has quote of the day about Jared Sullinger

“Jared was wonderful. He’s such a smart player. When you watch him, you don’t see rookie. You just see a big fat guy playing basketball.” Big fan of Doc Rivers. Loved him even more when he was the color commentator on ESPN prior to taking the Boston Celtics job. He is candid, and insightful. And [...]

Video: Kevin Garnett and CSNNE team sound off on Gerald Wallace altercation

In the 4th quarter of today's Boston Celtics-Brooklyn Nets game, Kevin Garnett and Gerald Wallace along with Courtney Lee and Andray Blatche both received double technical fouls when Wallace grabbed Garnett's shorts, resulting in a small altercation (video of the incident can be viewed here). In the video above, the Comcast Sports Net New England commentators as well as...

Celtics 93, Nets 76

NEW YORK -- Rajon Rondo keyed a balanced attack with 19 points and rookie Jared Sullinger added 16 points and seven rebounds off the bench, leading the Boston Celtics to a relatively easy 93-76 victory over the Brooklyn Nets in a Christmas Day matinee at Barclays Center. The victory was just the second in the last six games for the Celtics (14-13), who climbed above .500 again...

Kevin Garnett Describes Heated Exchange With Gerald Wallace, Confused by Forward’s ‘Shenanigans’ (Video)

Gerald Wallace‘s gift for Kevin Garnett this Christmas came in the form of a fistful of shorts — a present KG wasn’t too thrilled to receive. Wallace and Garnett had a rather heated exchange during the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s matinee clash between the Nets and Celtics. Garnett tried to hold Wallace up after the Brooklyn forward was fouled in the paint,  but instead of...

All-NBA “Ugliest Jump Shot” Team

Some players’ jump shots in the NBA are so ugly, they bring two things to mind. One: how does their shot ever go in? Two: how have they not learned to shoot?  Of the players on the Ugliest Jump Shot Team, only one is a decent shooter, despite the fact that he uses more elbow on his jumper then Metta World Peace does on James Harden. PG: Rajon Rondo via bleacherreport.com Rondo’s...

Recap: Merry Christmas!

The Celtics score an impressive 93-76 win over the Nets in Brooklyn on Christmas Day. Boston was in quite the battle for most of the 1st half, but pulled away in the end behind some great defense and a total team effort. Rajon Rondo led all-scorers with 19 points to go along with 5 assists & 6 boards. More importantly, he only had 1 turnover and 3 steals. Although the key scorers...

Boston Celtics 93, Brooklyn Nets 76: Christmas Day Postgame Analysis

Photo by Michelle V. Agins/The New York Times With a curiosity around the state of the Boston Celtics (14-13), Doc River’s made a statement in dominating fashion finishing the Brooklyn Nets (14-13) this time around 93-76. Leading scorers not needed: Recently, games would be around the name Paul Pierce, but Tuesday’s performance was behind rookie Jared Sullinger aka “big fat...

Celtics-Warriors Live: Rajon Rondo, C’s Take on Resurgent Golden State, Led by Stephen Curry

8 a.m. ET: The Golden State Warriors have not exactly had a marquee rivalry with the Celtics in recent years, and the matchup could be just as lopsided this time — only the lopsidedness could go in a different direction. The Warriors (19-10), led by a potential future All-Star backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, host the Celtics (14-14), who come to Oakland searching...

Bench shakes off the dust as Celtics beat Nets 93-76

Photo credit: www.nba.com A very nice Christmas gift almost turned into nightmare, yet the Celtics turned things around on Rondo's 19-5-5 performance and several key plays as they beat the Nets on the first game of the road trip. It wouldn't be fair to the rest of the team to highlight Rondo though. It was a great team performance as 4 players scored in double digits, and...
