Via CBS Sports While the wirey guard has never been one to be bashful, he’s at it again. He has modified his Larry O’Brien trophy tattoo to include the Celtics leprechaun. And the reasoning behind it – he’s guaranteeing that the Celtics’ 18th NBA championship will come in 2012-13. “There’s the lucky leprechaun and he’s spinning the Larry O’Brien trophy, which we will win this year.” The Celtics finished fourth in the Eastern Conference this past season and then took the eventual champ Miami Heat to a game seven in the Eastern Conference Finals. The roster has been small improvements as they added Courtney Lee to probably start at shooting guard in front of Terry. Lee and Terry should prove to be a minor upgrade over departed guard Ray Allen. The Celtics will welcome back forward Jeff Green who missed all of 2011-12 after having heart surgery. Plus, they have added Jared Sullinger and Fab Melo through the draft to bolster their front court. Whether the the changes will be enough to overtake the Heat and then beat the Lakers or Thunder in the Finals is obviously yet to be seen. Jason Terry thinks so…and he proved it. It’s a shame that guarantees mean absolutely zero. CBS Sports
