Found May 10, 2014 on Celtics Today:
Over at Celtics.com, they've been handing out the hardware for this years Celtics team. Marc D'Amico at Celtics.com chose Jeff Green as the Celtics 2013-14 MVP. Do you agree? Jeff Green had the best season overall out of any Celtic, but does that mean he's the MVP? Sullinger is worthy, and Bradley would have been if he played more games this past season. Rondo is the best player on the team, but he only played 30 games in 2013-14. I think the case is made for Green as team MVP.Celtics.comThe Celtics scoring title wasn’t very competitive. Green’s average of 16.9 PPG was two full points more than that of Avery Bradley, who finished second on the team with an average of 14.9 PPG. His total of 1,382 points on the season was also 400 more than the next-best total by a Celtics player.Green led the Celtics in scoring during 26 of Boston’s 82 games this season. He also recorded the team’s top three scoring games, including two 39-point outbursts and one 36-point game.

Rondo and some other Celtics already at work in Waltham

Rondo said after this season ended, that he wouldn't watch this years playoffs. I don't know how true that is, but I do know that Rondo is out there right now working with some of his teammates at the Celtics practice facility. CSNNEWhile most players on non-playoff teams like the Celtics (25-57 this past season) catch the first flight out of town to some exotic destination...

Celtics looking for a center? Jared Sullinger moving back to power forward

Sullinger's dad has been around since Sully arrived from "THE" Ohio State University. He coached his son through school, and now Satch has provided an inside look at what the Celtics may do this summer. Celticsblog"I think next year he's going to finally get to play his true position of power forward. And so, at that point, he's going to come home and he...

Celtics looking to acquire center

The Boston Celtics will have one of the better picks in the 2014 NBA Draft, at minimum, along with possessing a handful of valuable assets currently on their own roster. Needless to say, if the Celtics want to make some moves, they have the ammunition to do so and according to Jared Sullinger‘s father, a move to acquire a big man could be down the road. Sullinger’s father,...

Your Morning Dump… Where there’s no rest for Rajon Rondo

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. While most players on non-playoff teams like the Celtics (25-57 this past season) catch the first flight out of town to some exotic destination only to return to Boston sometime near the end of the summer, a handful...

Celtkicks: Anta Rondo low-closer look

The guys over at HiBasketball Shoes just posted a short video that gives you a closer look at the new Anta Rajon Rondo low. The clip features the white/green/gray colorway of the sneaker. Lottery Season Report Card: Boston Celtics

While it’s becoming increasingly evident that this is going to be Kevin Garnett’s final season (turns 38 this month & has looked like a dinosaur in series so far vs. Miami) and Paul Pierce (36) is also in his post-prime downward decline (averaged fewest points: 13.5 and minutes: 28 per game in his career this season), it was evident that the Boston Celtics were entering rebuilding...

Mark Jackson badmouths his Boston related assistants on the way out the door

MassLive- During a Wednesday interview with the NBA's Sirius XM radio station, Jackson called out both Brian Scalabrine and Darren Erman without using their names. Scalabrine was demoted to the Warriors' D-League affiliate midway through the season after reportedly going five weeks without speaking to the head coach. Erman, who served as a coaching assistant in Boston under...

Your Morning Dump..Where Ainge Has Limited Exposure at the Draft Combine

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. And 30-minute player...

Doc Rivers challenges Perk to fight

Like Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and others from the great 2008-2013 Celtic squads, it seems Kendrick Perkins has maintained a relationship with Doc Rivers. While the Oklahoma City Thunder were finishing a whooping on the Los Angeles Clippers, Doc Rivers "engaged" old friend Perk:At end of TO, LAC coach Doc Rivers caught eyes with his ex player Kendrick Perkins...

Danny Ainge Holds No Shortage Of Options With Celtics This Offseason (Poll)

The rebuilding process got started last June, when Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge shipped two all-time great players in Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to the Brooklyn Nets. Immediately, the Nets got better while the Celtics got worse. As evidence, only one of those two teams is currently playing right now in the NBA playoffs. Hint: It is not the Celtics...

Brad Stevens gives Butler graduation speech

It’s been rough for both the Boston Celtics and the Butler Bulldog since Brad Stevens jumped from Indianapolis to The Garden. It was expected that Stevens and the Celts would struggle. They kind of imploded the team last NBA Draft night, and we all knew a massive rebuild was coming. We didn’t think Butler would decline as far and fast as they did though once Brad Stevens bolted...
