SLAM Online:
JJ Hickson was traded from the Cavs to the Kings last season, and things aren’t exactly working out for him in Sac-Town. He tells the Plain Dealer that he wouldn’t mind returning to Cleveland next year: “The former Cavalier forward was at The Q with his new team and sounded like a player who would rather be almost anywhere except Sacramento. Even Anaheim. Hickson is struggling to adjust to a new team and a return to his natural position of power forward. He is averaging 5.2 points and less than 20 minutes a game all the while costing himself significant money in a contract year. ‘I’m not having the year I wanted to have, not just personally but we’re not winning,’ said Hickson, an unrestricted free agent as season’s end. ‘But after going through the season [the Cavs] went through last year, I didn’t want to come to a situation like this. I wanted to rebuild here, but I got traded and things happen.’ The Cavaliers ship...

For Cavs, trading Hickson had to be done
INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- Omri Casspi may not exactly be lighting it up for the Cavaliers (far from it), but you can say this much with a certain degree of confidence: Casspi is playing better than J.J. Hickson.
You remember Hickson, dont you?
Hes the 6-foot-9 power forward who spent the first three years of his NBA career in Cleveland. He was considered young and athletic with a huge...
Sacramento Kings’ DeMarcus Cousins Wants To Remain With Team
DeMarcus Cousins drew headlines when he found himself at odds with former Sacramento Kings head coach Paul Westphal. However, since the dismissal of Westphal, Cousins has quieted his voice down and you have not heard a lot from him.
Cousins is beginning to fit in well with head coach Keith Smart and is willing to stay with the Kings long-term, according to Chris Tomasson of Fox Sports...
Tyreke Evans mental midgetry shines through in the final moments; Kings lose to Cavailiers 93-92
No words to mince here: Tyreke Evans cost this Kings team the game with that foul. Would it bother me if it was another player or something of that nature? Not necessarily. But Tyreke Evans should, and always should, know the situation at hand. Mistakes are made, and I know that too. But this kind of mistake in a game where, frankly, these kind of fouls were called all night, and...
Fredette's rookie year comes with a learning curve
(Eds: With AP Photos.) By TIM REYNOLDS AP Sports Writer For Sacramento rookie Jimmer Fredette, there's one aspect of the NBA life that's proving difficult to handle.

Isaiah Thomas PG, Kings
Jimmer is not the guy in Sac Town, it’s the other rookie Isaiah Thomas who has taken the job from John Salmons and it doesn’t look like he will be giving it back any time soon. In his last 3 games, Thomas is getting a ton of minutes and is producing. He has 50 points, 19 assists, and 15...

Thompson shows Cavs' forward thinking
CLEVELAND -- Anyone who wonders what in the name of J.J. Hickson the Cavaliers did in last summer's NBA draft only needed to see Sundays game at The Q.
It ended with the Cavs pulling out a 93-92 victory over the Sacramento Kings -- a verdict that wasnt reached until Kyrie Irving hit a pair of free throws with 0.4 seconds left.
Irving, of course, was the No. 1 overall pick...
Kings lose to Miami 120-108
In a loss that wasn't nearly as embarrassing as the final score might indicate, the Kings actually showed some positive things tonight. Tyreke Evans actually played like a NBA player (it's a nice change), Isaiah Thomas had a career night going off for 20 points in the 3rd quarter (a season high in a quarter for a Miami opponent) and 24 points for the game (a new career high...
