If you didn’t already know, Joakim Noah grew up in NY and naturally he was a Knicks fan. And consequently, he hated the Bulls. Off to a career best start averaging 13 points, 1o rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks a game, he has a shot to be voted in as a first time All-Star this year. When asked to describe the franchise’s historic factors if he were to be selected, Joakim Noah reminded everyone he was a Knicks fan growing up and Michael Jordan’s 55 point game at MSG made him “a sad little boy”. According to The Chicago Tribune: “You can’t deny that if it wasn’t for those guys [MJ, Scottie Pippen] playing for this franchise, playing for the Chicago Bulls wouldn’t mean what (it) means,” he said. “But you have to remember: I hated the Bulls growing up. I was a Knicks fan. I was in (Madison Square) Garden when Michael Jordan wore No. 45 and scored 55.
