With Manu Ginobili out of action, Kawhi Leonard filled up the box score: 13 points (5-6 FG), three three-pointers, four rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in just 23 minutes. This was easily Leonard's best game of the month -- and probably longer. He is owned in 49 percent of Yahoo leagues. We'll see if he can keep filling it up and be the star that Greg Popovich predicted he would become.

De Colo looking to earn opportunity

Nando De Colo's rookie season has been an up and down one so far. He's been shuffled around and hasn't been getting as many minutes as he'd probably like. De Colo's misfortune comes from the team having an abundance in point guards and guys who can play the point guard position. With Tony Parker commanding the majority of the minutes at point and Patrick Mills...

Stern Fining Spurs Could Become Quite Costly For NBA Teams

Long before David Stern became the Commissioner of the Association, he went to law school, passed the bar and was a practicing attorney for many years. One would rationalize that with his background as an attorney, that he would think through all the ramifications of his actions; before making any decision. However, by deciding to fine the San Antonio Spurs $250,000 when head coach...

A few Spurs have the power to veto trades

Whether it is through a new rule or a clause in their contract, there are 19 NBA players who have the ability to veto trades they are involved in. Three of these players are on the Spurs Any guesses? It’s not who you might think. Tim Duncan (that one’s kind of obvious), Patty Mills and Boris Diaw (not so obvious). Duncan actually has a no-trade clause built into his...

Former Spur Horry calls out Kobe's defense

Kobe Bryant, in case you weren't aware, is a nine-time All-Defensive first teamer and three time second teamer. However, for the last several years that's been on reputation alone.  One of the reasons for that is that Kobe likes to play center field on defense and often gets caught ball watching instead of staying with his man.  Despite his 2011 NBA Defensive first...

Duncan knows Neal's importance

With the scare of Manu Ginobili's recent injury scare, the team will have to adjust a little until the star shooting guard returns to the San Antonio Spurs.
