Sports Illustratedreports that Kevin Durant is annoyed to be playing with LeBron James. Here is Durant’s take on playing with LeBron in the Olympics.
“It does. It does, but what can I do?” Durant said Tuesday. “He’s my teammate now. I’m a team player. I can’t let that affect this. This is bigger than that. It’s tough to lose in the Finals and play the guy you’ve been going up against for five games who beat you.”
It must be difficult for Durant to cope with LeBron being on the same court with him. LeBron has been on cloud nine ever since he won the title. He’s tweeted various things that show he’s still celebrating his first NBA Championship. LeBron knows Durant is bothered by this because it would annoy him too. LeBron said that he wouldn’t be too happy seeing the guy who beat him on the biggest stage after a short period of time passed. That’s just to paraphrase what James said. All we know is Durant will deal with this the best he can, and help bring home the gold for team USA along with his superstar buddies. Even if they are annoying.
