Found November 25, 2013 on Diehardsport:
Kevin Garnett and the lackluster Brooklyn Nets (3-10) are not off to the start many imagined under first year coach Jason Kidd. Garnett, who was traded with Paul Pierce from the Celtics to the Nets during the offseason, is averaging a dismal 6.5 points and 8 rebounds a night. As bad as he may be playing, Garnett apparently isn’t letting the heckling from fans get to his head, as you see in this Beats by Dre ad entitled ‘Hear What You Want.’

Video: Check Out The Director’s Cut Version Of Kevin Garnett’s New Ad For Beats By Dre

For the last few years, Kevin Garnett has been harassed again and again by haters and doubters who have questioned how much longer his days as an effective player would last. If Garnett had a dollar for every time somebody said he was “too old” to win, he would have enough money to buy the NBA and crown himself champion. Needless to say, the Big Ticket is tired of all the critics...

Kevin Garnett stars in intense new ‘Beats By Dre’ ad

The Nets are having a rough go of things this season, but at least Kevin Garnett is still getting his shine in the advertising game. This is a new Beats By Dre “Hear What You Want” spot featuring KG, and it’s quite intense by commercial standards. It features Garnett blocking out his haters – first Skip Bayless, who says he’s too old to play, then some savage opposing...

At 37, Garnett enters twilight of his career

Kevin Garnett sat in the visitor's locker room at Target Center, searching for answers to difficult questions after yet another disheartening loss by his Brooklyn Nets. Just down the hall, Minnesota's Kevin Love got dressed a few feet from the locker that Garnett called home for 12 years. And while he was trying to be respectful of the player that put the Timberwolves franchise...

Kevin Garnett Says Nets Are ‘Embarrassed’ After Team Fails to Meet Expectations, Starts Season 3-10

The Brooklyn Nets started the season with two notable additions — Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett — but the team’s season doesn’t seem headed for another NBA title just yet. After acquiring the future hall of famers from the Boston Celtics, the Nets didn’t start the season the way they might have hoped. The Nets lost their fifth straight game on Sunday to Detroit, bringing...

Kevin Garnett featured in new Beats By Dre spot

Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Garnett is one of the most intense players in the NBA. In a new commercial spot for new spot for Beats By Dre, KG uses his Beats to silence Knicks fans. In the ad, Garnett is taunted about his age and everything else as the team bus pulls into Madison Square Garden.

KG adds another classic to basketball commercial marketing lexicon

Kevin Garnett is already involved in two of my favorite marketing spots involving basketball. My all time favorite is the NBA commercial underscored by Badfinger's "Day after Day" where fans around the Boston area get the news that "The Big Ticket" is on his was to Boston. I'm also quite fond of this Nike spot featuring Penny Hardaway that mentions KG...

Art imitating life? In Beats by Dre’s new TV ad for Beats by Dre Studio Wireless, Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Garnett uses the premium headphones to drown out the hecklers and haters as he prepares for game day.  His day starts out with ESPN’s Skip Bayless calling Garnett too old to compete and only gets worse as he’s met with opposing fans, dressed in orange and blue (very cheeky...

Vote: Are You Rooting for the Brooklyn Nets to Lose?

When the blockbuster trade that sent beloved Celtics Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to Brooklyn was first completed, more than a few Boston fans happily admitted on Twitter that they would switch allegiances for one year. With more losses meaning more lottery balls for the Celtics, their fans didn’t feel bad temporarily swapping out green in favor of black and white, just to see...

They are the NBA's most expensive team, filled with All-Stars and the belief they can contend for a championship. Here's what else the Brooklyn Nets are at the moment: a last-place disappointment. ''Tough times right now,'' forward Kevin Garnett said. They got tougher Sunday, when reserve Rodney Stuckey scored a season-high 27 points in the Detroit Pistons...

Last-place Nets following familiar script

The more things change… “A broken record. We just keep playing the same old song.” — Kevin Garnett, Nov. 22. “When you go through dismal times like this … it shows you who’s within, who has the rope and who’s going to let go.” — Garnett, Nov. 19, following a players-only meeting the previous night. “Something’s got to give. If we are going to get stops...

Nets Struggling To Make Second Half Adjustments

The Brooklyn Nets have struggled mightily in the second half of games this season, especially in the third quarters. They were outscored 34-15 in the third quarter of Sunday's 109-97 loss to the Detroit Pistons. “The third quarter is something that stands out right now that we’ve got to get better at, coaches and players,” Jason Kidd said. The Nets want to blame their string...

Nets-Raptors Preview

The banged-up Brooklyn Nets continue to sink, with a five-game losing streak that has dropped them to the bottom of the Eastern Conference. They'll try to end their skid Tuesday night in a matchup with the first-place Toronto Raptors, who are seeking a third straight victory. Brooklyn (3-10) fell 109-97 to Detroit on Sunday, booed by the Barclays Center crowd in the second...
