He may be getting older; he may get surly from time to time; and he is definitely not the fantasy stud that he once was, but he is still one of the best players to ever step onto the hard court for the NBA.
I'm talking about Kevin Garnett who became the 16th player in the history of the league to break the 25,000 career points barrier.
The shot in question came a few minutes into the second quarter of Thursday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. You would think that such a major milestone would be something that the home crowd would have been aware of, but it doesn't seem as if they react at all when he makes the shot.
He enters elite company in the 25,000+ point club, but none of them can match the overall accomplishments that he has accumulated so far: 25,000+ points, 10,000+ rebounds, 5,000+ assists, 1,500+blocks, and 1,500+ steals.
Yeah, I think it is safe to say this guy is pretty good. Congrats KG!
