Kevin Garnett has struggled through the first two games of the 1st round with the New York Knicks. According to Doc Rivers, Garnett is suffering thru a 'hip injury' but is expected to play in game 3. From Mike Petraglia of WEEI.com: "He got hit in the, it's not a hip flexor, a hip pointer," said Rivers. "It's very similar to having a hip flexor in football, I guess."     h/t: Boston SportsToday In games 1 and 2, Garnett has played a combined, 50 minutes, while shooting 8-21 from the field and scoring 20 points. Garnett has held up the boards, grabbing 11 rebounds in just 24 minutes of play in game 2. the Big Ticket's lack of production in the first 2 games of this series has left Celtics fans begging for the KG of old and not the old Kevin Garnett. This injury is certainly a set back in this series as Garnett has struggled with leg problems, hampering his mobility, since his 2009 knee surgery. Stay tuned to the NBA - Boston Celtics Magazine, on CLNS Radio for more details on Garne...
