Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love is one of the smartest players in the league and that was on display in a game against Golden State. During the third quarter of that game Love found himself caught in midair trying to shot a jump shot. So instead of firing up a bad shot Love fired a pass off the back of teammate Greg Steimsma. Love then got the ball back and drew a foul on Carl Landry.
Last night the Brooklyn Nets destroyed the Boston Celtics 95-83. In that game Joe Johnson had a crossover that just made Paul Pierce look silly. Check it out below.

BEST OF MAXIM
MINNEAPOLIS No knock on Kevin Love, but that was supposed to go well.
Those were the Kings, and the Timberwolves were on a five-game losing streak with something to prove. Those were the Kings, who went into the game 4-9. Those were the Kings, and to lose in Sacramento would be to declare some sort of alarm surrounding a team that started the season 5-2.
Combine all that with Love...
Somehow athletes can play through illness better than most of us can even do nothing through illness. They can ignore the lethargic feelings that confine normal people to their beds. They fight fever with rigorous physical activity that would bring the average joe to their knees. And they do it all in front of thousands of other people. Such was the case with Kevin Love...
Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Johnson broke out a wicked crossover move that nearly brought Boston Celtics forward Paul Pierce to the floor during the fourth quarter of Wednesday night's NBA game at the TD Bank Center. Johnson led the Nets with 18 points to help carry them to a 95-83 victory. Video via. H/T Cosby. Visit us at http://holdoutsports.com and Follow @HoldoutSports...
Paul Pierce hasn't had the best of weeks. It took overtime for the Celtics to beat the Magic and then they got embarrassed by the Nets. Pierce has looked his age in the past couple of games, especially on defense. First, there was Jameer Nelson
And then there was Joe Johnson
Here's hoping the Captain gets his mojo back. This is getting painful to watch.
Kevin Love had 23 points and an NBA season-high 24 rebounds to
help the Minnesota Timberwolves stop a five-game losing streak by
beating the Sacramento Kings 97-89 on Tuesday night.
Good gracious, Paul Pierce.
Earlier this week, you almost lost a leg trying to guard Jameer Nelson. And then last night, Joe Johnson lulled you to sleep with his dribble before dropping you to your knees.
Again, gotta move those feet, Paul.

SACRAMENTO -- The Minnesota Timberwolves badly needed a victory Tuesday, and Kevin Love made sure they got one. Minnesota executed down the stretch and ended a five-game losing streak with a 97-89 victory over the Sacramento Kings before a small crowd of 10,741 at Sleep Train Arena. Love, the Timberwolves' All-Star power forward, finished with 23 points and 24 rebounds. He...
Do you like Allen Iverson? If so, you’re going to love this series of moves from Joe Johnson. Though he didn’t employ the type of body movement that Iverson so often did when executing basketball’s most famous killer crossover, Johnson did resort to his own air-tight, lighting-quick dribbling skills to elude Paul Pierce with an Answer-esque now-you-see-it-now-you-dont act...
MINNEAPOLIS -- An ailing Kevin Love and Nikola Pekovic combined for 29 points and 30 rebounds, helping the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 95-85 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night at Target Center. Love, who was feeling ill, scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds while Pekovic added 14 points and 16 rebounds for the Wolves (7-8). Love seemed to avoid the paint, but...
Anytime I log on to Twitter, it’s not long until ” #TeamCeltics ” comes across my timeline. That’s because I follow a young die-hard from NYC who goes by the Twitter handle @NyPDCeltics_34. His real name is Richard F. Richard is a 17 year old student from Brooklyn, NY who reps the Boston Celtics to the fullest. And as you can imagine, being a Boston Celtics fan in NYC is...

Rondo was having a so-so game until the “fight”. But that has the potential to be a very damaging reaction from Rondo. If the league drops the hammer because things spilled into the stands, then the...
February 22nd, 2012 – The Boston Celtics lose to the Oklahoma City Thunder 119-104 dropping their record to 15-17. Even the most ardent members of Celtics Nation declare the “window” shut for the team. The break-up of the Big Three seems inevitable as Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and maybe even Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett [...]
According to a press release from the league and dropped by Forsberg at the worldwide leader, Rondo has ascended into the upper echelon of the Top 15 Most Popular NBA Jerseys. Rondo is #6 on the list and in true underdog status Pierce appears at #14. As a green-teamer who owns both a Rondo black and green alternate jersey and a Pierce St. Patty’s day jersey (my all-time fave) I...
The Celtics barely missed Rondo as they routed the Trailblazers 96-78. Strong performances by Jeff Green, Jason Terry, Courtney Lee, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett gave Celtics fans hope that they can play without their floor general. Jared Weiss of CLNS Radio recaps the game in tonight’s edition of “Three at the Buzzer”. Filmed and [...]
