The Sacramento Kings defeated the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday by the score of 96-89. The win snapped a three-game losing streak and moved the Kings to 21-39, fourth in the Pacific Division. The Kings were without forward Carl Landry for the third straight game because of a sore right knee.J.smith via Wikimedia Commons  As reported by Jason Jones of The Sacramento Bee,  Landry has been sidelined since finishing the morning shoot around Friday in Los Angeles. An MRI was done on Monday and there is no word yet on the results. Coach Michael Malone stated that the team will have a better idea how to move forward with Landry when they get the results of the MRI.  The Kings being a seven-game road trip Wednesday at Milwaukee.Landry has been hampered with injuries all season. He missed the first 38 games due to a torn left hip flexor.  He was signed in the off season to a four-year, $26 million but has played in only 18 games this season. Kings To Sign Royce White To 10-Day For D-League Assignment

The Sacramento Kings will sign Royce White to a 10-day contract and immediately assign him to the Reno Big Horns of the D-League. The Kings will have four games to evaluate White and if his stint goes well, they will likely sign him to a second 10-day deal to join the NBA team.
