The Sacramento Kings have been encouraged by the progress of Ben McLemore.
McLemore most recently had 19 points against the Warriors.
McLemore is earning a reputation as a hard worker and a committed defensive player.
"He's done everything we've asked," Mike Malone said. "And what I told him after practice was I love his work ethic and the work habits that he has. I said, 'I hope they never change because if you continue to work this hard and do all the right things, your future is very, very bright.' "
The Kings aren't sure which position McLemore is best suited to play.
"The bottom line is, whether he starts or comes off the bench right now, Ben is a big part of our future," Malone said. "And I have to continue to show confidence in him and give him an opportunity whether it's at (shooting guard) or (small forward), and he's deserving of that opportunity."

Watch Atlanta rookie, Dennis Schroder, deliver what looks to be a very painful low blow to DeMarcus Cousins during Tuesday night’s Kings-Hawks game.

If I’ve learned anything over the years of watching the NBA, getting hit in the groin isn’t pleasant experience and last, Kings center DeMarcus Cousins took a pretty good shot to man region.
It happened against the Atlanta Hawks and guard Dennis Schroeder was trying to set some form of pick.
I’m not sure where the groin shot comes in but what I am to judge:
The first week of the inaugural Razzball Elite League (REL) is in the books! While my team surely disappointed, I have a lot of young talent and minor injuries I’m getting through and still have a very positive outlook to the future. Then again maybe I’m Wiggin’ out for Wiggins!
So if you’re not in the REL, why should ya even care? Well, the league is a 20-team deep...
