Knicks 105 Kings 106   Boxscore The New York Knicks were on the losing end of a buzzer beater tonight. A heart breaking loss as the Knicks fight back from a 27 point deficit to take a 5 point lead only to let the Kings get back into in the end. James Johnson hit a 3 pointer at the top of the three point line at the buzzer to drop the Knicks to 21-9. Heart and Fire The Knicks showed me something tonight. With one of their worst first half’s of the year, the Knicks did not give up and hop back on the plane for a 3 day rest. Minus their two top scorers, the Knicks had a gut check moment and shut down the Kings the second half. Coming into the 4th quarter the Knicks were down by 8 and eventually took the lead with contributions from Kidd, Copeland and JR Smith were very close to pulling the biggest comeback in Knicks history. Tyson Chandler had another career night with 21 pts and 18 rbs, but it was not their night as the Kings hit the game winner to put a dagger in the Knicks heart. What a game! Tough loss.   Peter A.
