The New York Knicks continue their quest to acquire and work out players that were in their prime a decade ago. Last week it was the 33-year-old Tracy McGrady, now they have turned their attention to 38-year-old Rasheed Wallace. According to The Post the 6-foot-11 Wallace worked out with Knicks players at their Greenburgh, N.Y., facility Saturday during voluntary workouts.
Although the Knicks already have Tyson Chandler, Marcus Camby, Kurt Thomas and even Carmelo Anthony, they feel they have nothing to lose inviting him to camp on a partial guarantee contract. Training camp starts in one week, and the Knicks have already invited 19 players to attend camp.
