MIAMI LeBron James now has a Top 40 of really great weeks.
For the 40th time in his 10-year career, the Miami Heat star Monday was named NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Nobody in NBA history has won more awards for Player of the Week, although it must be said that prior to 2001-02 there was one award per week rather than one for each conference.
It's the third time...

You can stop wishing to see LeBron in the dunk contest
Every year of LeBron James’ career, as it gets closer to the All-Star break, people start hoping. “Will this finally be the year we see LeBron in the dunk contest?” The answer is always no.
As each year goes by, the hope dwindles a bit as LeBron gets older and loses a little more explosiveness in his legs. Don’t get me wrong, I still think he could put on a hell of a...
Metta World Peace: “I forget its Christmas”
The Los Angeles Lakers have now played a game on Christmas day 15 seasons in a row. And for some players, the routine is wearing thin. According to the L.A. A Numbers Game: Festivus Edition
How time flies; it seems like the Heat JUST finished steamrolling OKC 4-1 to win LeBron James his 1st ring, yet 2013 is less than a week away. This season has been anything but run-of-the-mill. The New York Knicks have crashed the "League OF Elite" Party, and several players are forcing us to reassess the "star" hierarchy that's been established over time...
POTD 12/25/12: LeBron James on Serge Ibaka

When you think about it, the degree of difficulty involved here is pretty impressive. To time a one-handed putback and throw it down with such force...

Wade, James power Heat past Bobcats
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Win and move on. That seems to be the Miami Heat's approach right now as it enters its first extended road stretch this season. So even though the Heat couldn't put away the lowly Charlotte Bobcats until late in the fourth quarter, coach Erik Spoelstra and his players were satisfied for the most part with their 105-92 victory at Time Warner Cable Arena...
