Trail Blazers center Marcus Camby was ruled out for Portland's preseason finale against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night after tweaking his left knee during warmups.
Camby will have an MRI as a precaution on Thursday, but coach Nate McMillan didn't believe the injury was serious.
Kurt Thomas started in place of the 15-year veteran.
LaMarcus Aldridge will start for Portland...
The Blazers forward, now the team's unquestioned leader, lets past slights - real and perceived - fuel his desire for improvement.

The 6-foot-5 Matthews is the Blazers' starting shooting guard.
The 6-foot-7 Wallace is the Blazers' starting small forward.
The Blazers shot just 35 percent, but still had a chance to send the game into overtime.
Symbolic of Bill Walton reminiscing on the better days he had with the Trail Blazers where he was hailed as the saviour of the Portland franchise and quickly delivered with a championship, multiple all-star appearances and a league MVP award. This piece from Jacob Weinstein captures a moment of “Big Red” with the Clippers wishing he could smell the sweet roses of his injury...
