This season has been a disaster for Lamar Odom beginning with his cancelled trade to Houston and his eventual trade to the Mavericks. He hasn’t found a role in Dallas, he’s still upset with the Lakers, and he supposedly has had marital trouble. He has missed games to get his head right and he was benched last Friday. He’s even been booed, and that’s been tough for him. “I’ve never been booed in my life,” he said. “So if it’s to the point where I’m playing a basketball game at home and I’m getting booed, I would say no disrespect but maybe I think people took things the wrong way.” Odom says he opened up about some of his personal issues, and it seems like he hoped he would have received support from the fans.
