On Monday, Miami Heat forward Shane Battier held his annual charity event, South Beach Battioke, a no-holds-barred karaoke jam. Among the participants were none other than teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.
Now, this isn’t the first time LeBron has rocked the karaoke mic, as you may recall last year when he donned a wig and busted out “Super Freak” by Rick James, but to see James sing Michael Jackson’s “Rock with You” was a special treat.
But the highlight had to be when LeBron and D-Wade serenaded a woman from the crowd with their rendition of Shai’s “If I Ever Fall In Love.”
And yes, I’ve never heard of Shai nor the 90′s hit that the Heat stars belted out, so don’t feel too bad about it.

ROCKING THE MIC
Miami Heat forward Shane Battier apparently loves his karaoke — so much so, that he pitched his own South Beach showcase called Battieoke 2013. And, if you think he limited vocal embarrassment to just bench warmers and rookies, here are high-flying teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade serenading a lucky lady to the mid-90s Shai hit “If I Ever Fall In Love”. MIAMI -- Fortunately for Dwyane Wade, there is plenty of wood paneling in the Miami locker room.
So the Heat guard didn't have to go far when he said "knock on wood" and then did just that after his team's 123-116 overtime victory Wednesday night over Toronto at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
Wade, who had left knee surgery last July, said early in the season it...

After rumors swirled today over the controlling interest of the Sacramento Kings being sold to the Chris Hansen/Steve Ballmer group in Seattle, it appears that the Seattle Sonics will be playing in the NBA as soon as next season. There were many varied reactions on Twitter including one from Miami Heat star LeBron James who ripped the sale for being over $525 million dollars:When...
Michael Jordan worked hard to cultivate a regal image in public in the latter half of his career. Kobe Bryant comes across as cold and rude.
LeBron James, meanwhile, sings karaoke.
The Heat star showed once again that he is not afraid to reveal his lighter side by busting out his dance moves to sing Michael Jackson songs at a recent event. The reigning NBA Most Valuable Player sang...
Miami Heat center Chris Bosh was back to his old ways as he videobombed teammate LeBron James during a live postgame interview after the team's 123-116 overtime win over the Toronto Raptors Wednesday night. LeBron recorded his 34th career triple double with 31 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. LeBron was wrapping up his interview when Bosh quietly snuck up behind him to get...
Earlier this month, Shane Battier of the Miami Heat uploaded a video of himself dressed like a ship’s captain, singing the theme to ‘The Love Boat.’ It was the worst THE BEST, advertised his second annual “South Beach Battioke” celebrity karaoke event, and allowed me to make a joke about LeBron James singing Pretty Ricky. As it turns out … I wasn’t that far off.Behold...
As previously noted on That NBA Lottery Pick, Shane Battier held his annual charity karaoke event which allowed some of his teammates to sing some classics.Check out the below video of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James singing at the event and serenading one fan with some unique vocals:(Courtesy of Terez Owens)
Just when we thought that Dwyane Wade and LeBron James put out the best performance at the Shane Battier charity karaoke event, this clip of Mike Miller and Chris Anderson performing a Vanilla Ice song is posted.Check out Miller's bling and Birdman's smooth vocals while singing "Ice Ice Baby":
MIAMI -- Returning from a six-game road trip with five days off in between games, the Eastern Conference's top team, the Miami Heat, didn't look like its championship self early on against the Atlantic Division cellar's Toronto Raptors. Toronto notched 57 points by halftime on 57.5 percent shooting, but a third-quarter rally sparked by Dwyane Wade's aggressive...
