I think LeBron was trying to give the perfect motivational quote and it came out wrong.
“I have something in me that they took in ’07; beat us on our home floor, celebrated on our home floor,” James said. “I won’t forget that. You shouldn’t as a competitor. You should never forget that.
“If you go into my pick-and-roll now, I’m going to shoot. And I’m confident I’m going to make every last one of them,” James said. “I’m a better player and you can’t dare me to do anything I don’t want to do in 2013.”
The short version is he is trying to get some revenge on the first team that gave him a L in the Finals. It wasn’t like the Cavs had an opportunity to win the Championship on their floor, they were swept pretty easily by the Spurs.
LeBron is a far superior player now, the fact that he even got the 2007 to the Finals was always a miracle to me. That wasn’t a very talented team and LeBron hadn’t hit his prime year.
Should be a good series, you can read my prediction here.

Ever since the Heat came together on a stage in July 2010 with the pyrotechnics and bravado of a team that was pre-ordained to do great things, intense scrutiny has focused upon them. Every mistake, hiccup, shoulder bump, missed shot, injury, misspoken word, tweet, gesture and breath has been dissected and examined to an unreal and unfathomable level.
