30-year old SG/SF Tony Allen is doing a decent job for the Grizzlies so far this year. Allen has played in 9 games (all starts) for the Grizzlies so far this year and he is averaging 21.9 minutes, 9.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 1.9 steals per game. The Grizzlies need Allen to keep up the good work as they are off to a very slow start to the 2011-12 season.
OJ Mayo admits that he wasn’t happy when Memphis Grizzlies head coach Lionel Hollins asked him to come off the bench last season, but now he’s happy with the role. Per the LA Times: “O.J. The team announced the patch will debut Tuesday night against Oklahoma City, and the Grizzlies also plan to give pins with Bartow's initials to the first 10,000 fans attending the home game.
Without Zach Randolph in the lineup, the Memphis Grizzlies have lost all semblance of order on offense.

The Lakers had 27 turnovers but pulled off the win including a Kobe dunk that was extremely “from Kobe-esque” Matt barnes has earned his way into the starting small forward spot. I think he thinks Rihanna was the key to [...]
It’s generally never a good idea to give any NBA player the baseline, let alone Kobe Bryant, who shows Rudy Gay and the Grizz defense that he still has some quickness and hops.
Last season the Memphis Grizzlies gave Oklahoma City all it could handle in the Western Conference semifinals. This time around the Grizz might want to duck as the Thunder rolls onto Beale Street.
Nobody said that making $84 million over five years would come without its pressures, you know?
