Kevin Love might have a legitimate complaint about not getting named the Western Conference Player of the Month for March. Kevin Durant had an incredible month for sure, but Love's 30.7 points per game and 13.9 rebounds per game in the month of March certainly deserves notice. He posted a 58.4 percent true shooting percentage in the 16 games last month. Love has shouldered a lot of the pressure for the resurgent Timberwolves ever since Ricky Rubio went down for the season with a torn ACL. Minnesota's Playoff hopes seem to be dwindling by the day and Love has had to keep things going just to keep Minnesota relevant. It is not that the Wolves were not relying on Love a lot, but March was particularly bad. Love averaged 40.4 minutes per game during March. He continues to play a ton of minutes.
