The latest rumor coming out of Orlando is that Dwight Howard will stick around with the Magic if they part ways with their head coach.
There aren't many NBA players that are considered winning players. There are a select few in the league and you can probably count them on one hand. Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Kevin Durant, and no matter what anyone says LeBron James.
Dwight Howard is not one of them. It's not because he hasn't won any championships. It's because of the act he's pulling with...
One day after Orlando Magic coach Stan Van Gundy disclosed All-Star center Dwight Howard wanted him fired, the two agreed it was time to move forward and focus on the team's play on the court.
''There's nothing for me to say,'' Howard said at practice Friday. ''We just have to play basketball. That's the only thing that matters.''
This year has been anything but normal for the Orlando Magic. Their franchise center, Dwight Howard, caused a season-long distraction by stating his desire to be traded. Stan Van Gundy and Dwight Howard have both lost their freaking minds. How does a coach go to shootaround, a mere hours before his team is to play a game, and tell reporters that his star player wants him fired? Honestly, did he expect everyone not to go nuts and put that video clip on a loop for the next twenty-four hours? And how does a player have the ability to go to...
Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard weren't exactly the best of friends while Shaq was still playing in the NBA. But any grudge O'Neal might have isn't tainting his outlook on the ongoing Howard-Stan Van Gundy saga. Rather than blasting Howard, who allegedly called for Van Gundy's firing, O'Neal is instead upset with the way the Magic coach has handled the...

Although the New York Knicks are coming off a particularly discouraging loss, they've shown they can win despite injuries to two of their best players.
The Orlando Magic have been unable to overcome an injury to their star.
The Magic, who are hoping to have Dwight Howard back, try to avoid losing five straight games for the first time in five years when they host the Knicks...
There are plenty of excuses you can give for the Magic's fourth straight loss.
Dwight Howard, Jameer Nelson and Ryan Anderson, the Magic's three leading scorers and most consistent players, sat out with various injuries. It put the Magic in a deep hole as far as production goes entering the game. Even against a Pistons team that struggles to score, it was a concern getting...

Van Gundy believes that Howard will only stay in Orlando if he is fired and a new coach is brought in. There is some very awkward video of Van Gundy telling this [...]
