Found January 26, 2013 on BlackSportsOnline:
Delonte West headed to the D-League and the Texas Legends with the hopes of getting buckets and impressing his way into a 10 day contract with the Mavs.  Mavs owner Mark Cuban shut that talk down quickly upon hearing it, telling ESPN Dallas, “not gonna happen.” “That doesn’t mean we don’t like Delonte, care about him as a person, want to help him get back on track.” Cuban who already has a struggling team, doesn’t want to risk a chemistry implosion by adding West back to that mix. “It’s not worth talking about at this point in time,” Cuban said. “It is what it is.” So Much For that.

Report: Celtics, Grizzlies Have Held Exploratory Trade Talks Involving Gay, Gasol & Pierce

So it’s premature, to me, to throw Pierce’s name up there with Rudy Gay and Pau Gasol on the list of high-profile names available this trade season, even though we’ve heard more than one rival team speculate — given that the Celtics and Grizzlies, sources say, have indeed held some exploratory trade talks since Gay hit the market — that a three-way deal where Pierce lands...

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Marc Gasol had 20 points and nine rebounds and the Memphis Grizzlies built a 30-point lead in the second half en route to a 101-77 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night. Gasol was 10 of 15 from the field, all of his points coming in the first half, as Memphis, which had seven players in double figures, won for the fourth time in the past five games...

Texas Legends Looking to Add Allen Iverson

Once again, the Dallas Mavericks D-League team, the Texas Legends, is making news. Last week, we wrote about the addition of Delonte West to the Legends, but now, they’ve outdone themselves. According to reports from ESPN, the Legends are now making a push for long time 76ers point guard, and NBA bad boy Allen Iverson. [...] Related posts: Delonte West is back…sort of O.J. Mayo...

Kaman: Stern 'hates' the Spurs

Chris Kaman isn't a player who usually says controversial things, especially when they're thought to be true for years. In an interview with DallasNews.com, Kaman said the commissioner of the NBA, David Stern, "hates" the San Antonio Spurs. When he was asked about fans following players over teams, he responded: “One exception to that is the Spurs...

Suns-Mavericks Preview

The Dallas Mavericks have been beaten by the NBA's top two teams in their last two games on their home floor. They would figure to have a good chance of avoiding a third straight home loss given their history against the Phoenix Suns in Dallas. The Mavericks look to win their 10th straight home game over the Suns when they meet Sunday night. Dallas (18-25) had won five of...
