That NBA Lottery Pick:
In case you didn't think that NBA players are just like us, Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph recently revealed a fear of felines.Randolph was making a special guest appearance on Animal Planet's Pit Bulls and Parolees and while talking about the episode, he revealed that he wasn't a huge fan of cats: “You can’t be both a dog lover and a cat lover,” Randolph says. “I’ve got a crazy phobia about cats. For some reason, I’m always thinking they’re going to scratch me. If a cat walks up, I’m going, ‘Oh no, this dude about to scratch me — I know it!’ Cats scare the hell out of me. I love animals, but I’m no cat lover. Guys usually aren’t.”(Courtesy of Off The Bench)

Talent-wise, Gilbert Arenas should still be playing the NBA. But outside factors (namely his immaturity) have resulted in him playing for the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball League. In China, Arenas has to be considered, arguably of course, to be one of the most talented player in the league. Former NBA stars Tracy McGrady and Stephon Marbury also play in the CBL. This...

It's not often that a team with one of the best records in the NBA is trying to sell off its top scorer and arguably its best player, but that's what the Memphis Grizzlies are working on right now with F Rudy Gay.
Wizards rookie guard Bradley Beal has not been mentioned in trade discussions with the Memphis Grizzlies involving swingman Rudy Gay, according to Beal’s agent, Mark Bartelstein.
The Memphis Commercial-Appeal reported Monday that the Grizzlies have “entertained” an offer from the Wizards that would include Beal in a larger package.”I’ve talked to both teams. There is absolutely...
It has become clear that the Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies have a strong dislike for each other.
So don't be surprised if Monday night's game in Memphis is played so intensely that it's almost like Game 9 of their first-round playoff series last season.
"I'm sure it will be," Clippers guard Chris Paul said.
The Clippers and Grizzlies played an exciting...
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Reserves Jamal Crawford and Matt Barnes each scored 16 points, and the Clippers easily routed the Memphis Grizzlies 99-73 Monday night with Chris Paul missing his first game this season because of a bruised right kneecap.
The matchup between two of the best teams in the West wasn't close much of the way. While Paul watched from the bench, the Grizzlies...

Rudy Gay, of the Memphis Grizzlies, has been on the trade block for quite sometime; it was just last week when multiple scenarios presented last week with Gay and even teammate Zach Randolph. You’re forgiven if you didn’t realize Gilbert Arenas is still playing pro ball, albeit in China for the Shanghai Sharks. Here he is jab-stepping his opponent to the floor and draining a three (via HoopsHype). Swag status: still phenomenal.
MEMPHIS – The last time the Los Angeles Clippers were seen in the FedExForum, they broke hearts last April by winning the seventh game of a Western Conference first-round playoff series over the Memphis Grizzlies. The Griz ran out of gas in that game. On Monday, though, in the same place against the same team, the Grizzlies were merely dead on arrival in their worst home performance...
