To celebrate 25 years of basketball and ballet, the Miami HEAT and the Miami City Ballet have come together for a new campaign. The team’s top stars, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, were paired with Miami City Ballet Principal Dancers, sisters, and Miami natives Jeanette and Patricia Delgado, for a series of photos. The images will serve as a centerpiece of a local and national campaign to promote the arts scene on Miami’s Biscayne Boulevard, and to highlight the world-renowned Miami City Ballet. “Ballet and basketball are both about grace under pressure and the pursuit of perfection,” said Miami City Ballet Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez. “No Miami City Ballet dancer stands alone just as HEAT players can’t win alone. It requires team work—and that’s Miami! We are talking about tremendous pride in the place we call home and being the best together.”  The pictures are meant to showcase how the sports and dance worlds align, through qualities such as “grace, fitness, strength and passion.” For the shoot, Wade posed together with Patricia Delgado and LeBron with Jeanette Delgado. “It’s very artsy,” said James of the endeavor. “It’s great to have a couple of pictures with them in their poses—poses I’d never be able to get into!” The sisters will also be on-hand for the Los Angeles Lakers vs. HEAT matchup on February 10th. Lebron James Says Don’t Compare Him to Michael Jordan

To even be in the Michael Jordan discussion you need at least three rings. Until then there is really nothing to talk about. Lebron is having a great stretch of games and he is totally locked into Optimus Bron mode, but none of that matters. Bron’s legacy will depend on how much jewelry he has when it is all said and done. From a practice sense, they aren’t the same type of player...

The Celtics Continue To Ruin My Life

More Snow, Please It's such a fun year in the Asso- ciation, people. In the Miami Hurricanes rout of North Carolina, Shane Larkin (son of baseball Hall of Famer Barry Larkin) decided to have some fun and throw the ball of the glass to Kenny Kadji for the dunk; naturally this sent the crowd into a frenzy.  LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were sitting courtside and absolutely loved it.  This will be #1 on Sportscenter Saturday night as the Hurricanes...
