Via Gamedayr:
An Atlanta Hawks cheerleader bit the dust, hard, during the intermission between the third and fourth quarters of Monday night’s Hawks vs. Mavericks game.
She was carted off the court and taken to the Atlanta Medical Center where she was “receiving treatment,” according to Deadspin.
In all seriousness, however, cheerleaders work extremely hard to provide entertainment for the fans. We are hoping she has a swift recovery, which appears to be the case, as the Atlanta Journal- Constitution reported that the Hawks notified the press that she was "released Monday night following examination by physicians."

"Bit the dust". Really? Your article, from beginning to end, read as though you were making a joke of the situation. "In all seriousness", why did you choose not to take a "serious" tone when writing about this?
-
dude, bit the dust usually implies someone died. How callous can you be about something like this>. the girl was hospitalized and you make a joke about it?!! you are a sad human being and i hope someone pees in your coffee!
