The Heat are probably still celebrating winning the second of their back to back NBA Championships on Thursday night. They should be allowed to cherish this title. It was a tough fought series. Both the Heat and the Spurs played well and it made it an interesting series to watch. As the Spurs regroup and see what the future holds, the Heat are soaking up every minute of this moment.
After Game 7 James even said at his post game press conference that if the Heat lost he might have had to cancel his wedding.
James joked, “I got a wedding coming up with my beautiful fiancé. It will be an unbelievable wedding now that we’ve won instead of losing. I might have called it off if we had lost. So now it’s going to be one of the best weddings ever.”
James ended up thanking the media for motivating him. In the past LeBron might have let people from the outside world get into his head. It would affect his play, but not anymore. He now knows how to work the media. Case in point. Just look what he said right before he left the podium.
As James walks off the stage clutching his second straight Bill Russell Finals MVP Award, he says, “Please continue to motivate me, I need you guys.’’ Here is the video below.

I have no issue with LeBron saying that. I think it is good for him to give the media a taste of their own medicine. He did it in such a great way too. He had both trophies on each side of him and was ready to walk off into the Miami sunset.
Shane Battier celebrated winning it all by eating at Denny’s with his friends. That’s all I really need to say about that.
Rapper Drake wanted to celebrate with LeBron and the rest of the team. And why not he chipped in with at least five points, three rebounds, and two assists. Oh wait he is not on the team. That is what security said to him and he was denied access to the Heat locker room.
It really didn’t bother Drake too much since he caught up with James and Wade in celebrating the win at Story nightclub on South Beach.
And last but not least ESPN celebrated the Heat winning the NBA Finals by cutting off Bill Simmons trying to talk about “The Decision.” Looks like the folks at ESPN did not want to go there.

James was voted series MVP after he capped a strong series with a 37-point, 12 rebound performance. James pulled the trigger as a sharpshooter going 5-for-10 (50%) on his 3-point attempts.

LeBron James and the Miami Heat have won back-to-back championships and after the game LeBron James said, he was just a guy from the inner city of Akron, Ohio. He went on to say he wasn’t even suppose to be there. Well he is there. He is putting on his second consecutive championship ring and he may not be finished yet. The way LeBron plays basketball, it looks like it is his destiny...
LeBron James is the king of South Beach, the king of the NBA, and after his second straight NBA Championship and MVP, “he ain’t got no worries.”
James just wanted to celebrate last night, and had no interest in answering anymore questions from the media. In the video courtesy of Larry Brown Sports, LeBron got fed up, and let the media have it, dropping an f bomb, and “telling...
LeBron James was amazing in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. He shot superbly from the field. He made all of his free throws. He grabbed rebounds. He didn’t turn the ball over. He consistently burned the Spurs when they dared him to shoot. He came through in the clutch. For his performance in the [...]
MIAMI LeBron James is 28 years old. When Michael Jordan was that age, he had one championship ring.
James now has two.
This isnt to suggest James definitely will reach Jordans six. But he has plenty of time to get there.
After winning a second straight title Thursday, James legacy is still being built. The way he has improved in each of the past two seasons, he might not even...
At some point, despite the criticism, NBA enthusiasts – even the ones that stay steadfast in their hatred – knew LeBron James would take over; he did so from outside, inside, and everywhere in between in Game 7 against the San Antonio Spurs. Not every member of the world champion Miami Heat celebrated by popping bottles at Club Story in South Beach.
Shane Battier, who had an amazing performance in game 7, celebrated at Denny’s by having a grandslam.

Some pop bottles, some celebrate by hitting South Beach, but this Miami Heat player chilled out at Dennys after winning the NBA championship. Check out sharp shooting reserve guard Shane Battier enjoying the fruit of his labor at the breakfast spot. Interesting dining choice, hope Dennys is sending him a check.-TO
Bud Light Surprises Battier with a Truck ...
After winning one of the most hard-fought NBA Finals series in years, a celebration was in store for members of the Miami Heat organization.
While LeBron James and Dwyane Wade could be found celebrating their second consecutive NBA championship at Club Story in South Beach, Shane Battier took the party to Denny’s.

Miami Heat forward Shane Battier predicted last nights explosive game 7 a few weeks ago, when he tried to explain what being bench against the Pacers felt like.
Battier, who had his minutes against the Pacers reduced because of matchups, compared being benched against Indiana to “eating a turd sandwich.”
As I explained in that article, Battier was being humble about the benching...
This guy is the vanilla wafer I hope I never become when I’m 50. Oh wait, he’s 37? Oh. Oh well then.

LeBron haters are getting very creative. After almost choking during the final minutes of Game 6 of the NBA Finals, LeBron James answers some post game questions in Spanish. I can’t translate, but I find it extremely amusing listening to LeBron’s Spanish accent.-TO

The Miami Heat went from seeing the yellow tape being rolled out for the Spurs on Tuesday night to partying it up after back-to-back championships Thursday night. Oh the difference 48 hours makes!
LeBron James and Dwayne Wade were the Master of Ceremonies at Club Story, not the usual Club LIV, for the championship celebration last night. Miami Heat players packed the...
With their 95-88 victory in Game 7, the Miami Heat are the 2012-2013 NBA Champions.
The game was tight from start to finish, but Miami had just a little more left in their gas tank from Game 6, and that proved to be the difference at the end of the game.
LeBron James found his shooting stroke, hitting 5 3-pointers and multiple midrange jump shots, including the game clincher from...
