The NBA has rescinded the technical foul assessed to Celtic captain Paul Pierce during last Wednesday’s game against the Phoenix Suns. With 7:34 remaining in the third quarter, Pierce threw down a monster left handed jam sending friend of the Celtics Channing Frye to the floor. Pierce got T’d up as he stood over Frye reminding him of the awesomeness that had just transpired.
This is the first of the 41 team techs to have been taken back after video review from the league. Kevin Garnett leads all Celtics with 10 technical fouls on the season.
