For all the Celtics fans hoping to keep up with Fab Melo and Kris Joseph as they play with the Red Claws, according to ESPN, the NBA will broadcast almost all of its D-League games this season live on YouTube.
They will be broadcasting 350 of 400 total regular-season games in high definition on the D-League YouTube channel and through a YouTube video player on NBA.com.
They will also archive the games on YouTube for fans to watch whenever they want along with other features like Top 10 Plays and Nightly Highlights. The NBA D-League season on YouTube will begin on this Friday with four games, starting at 7:30 p.m. I didn't see a link on NBA.com or on the D-League page,. It may be on the schedule page like the League Pass games are for the NBA. I'm sure it will be there on Friday when the games are broadcast.
The four games that kick off the season will be Maine at Canton and Erie at Fort Wayne at 7:30 and Texas at Tulsa and Bakersfield at Rio Grande Valley at 8:00...

Rookie Round-Up: Joseph and Melo Move to Maine
The Celtics faced a tough schedule over the last week playing five games in seven days. There were some highs and lows for the team that ultimately ended up finishing the week just above five-hundred at 6-5 on the season. A lot of news came from our rookies this past week as Sully continues to contribute in the rotation while Fab and Kris moved to the Maine Red Claws. In this Rookie...
Pierce’s ankle will be ‘all right’ with a few days rest
CSNNE
"It's a little sore," said Pierce, who had just 13 points on 5-for-13 shooting. "I turned it on one of the last plays of the game. But I think it'll be all right, a couple days rest."
Paul Pierce has always been a warrior, playing through plenty of injuries in his career. With the Celtics off until Wednesday when they play the Spurs, it should...
Report: Darko Milicic May Leave The Boston Celtics To Care For His Mother
Boston Celtics Center Darko Milicic has played a grand total of 5 minutes in the team’s 11 games (and those minutes came Opening Night), but it seems as if he may not play another minute for the team in the 2012-2013 season. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Milicic, who did not accompany [...]

Report: Darko considering leaving C’s
Darko Milicic is leaning toward leaving the Boston Celtics for season and returning to Europe to be with ill mother, league sources tell Y!
— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) November 19, 2012
Darko was not with the team last night for personal reasons, and it appears those personal reasons have to do with the health of his mother.
First and foremost, we want to wish Darko and...

Myths about Celtics and rebounding just won't stop
Another day passes and another article is written on Celtics being bad at rebounding. This is not a shocker, as the author of the article agrees, and he also acknowledges that (well, he acknowledges that Doc acknowledges that) you don't need to lead the rebounding stats to win games, Miami and Knicks being other cases in point. However, there is still an issue according to Blakely...
Rajon Rondo, Celtics Take Championship Odds to First True Test Against Oklahoma City
Unable to truly grab traction at the start of the 2012-13 campaign, the Boston Celtics will get an early-season test against the reigning Western Conference champion, the Oklahoma City Thunder, on Friday.
Although the veterans of Beantown have lost a handful of games they probably shouldn’t have, they aren’t ruled out as contenders on the NBA futures.
With 25-1 odds of winning...

Recap: Spurs handle the Celtics inside & out in a 112-100 loss
This just in: the Spurs are REALLY good. Between their incredible chemistry and remarkable passing, it was just too much for the Celtics to handle. Whether it was the FIFTY EIGHT points inside the paint or the 8-of-16 shooting from downtown, the Spurs just showed the Celtics what a title contender looks like a 112-100 loss. Thiago Splitter led the way with 23 points on 9-of -11...
Bye Bye, Darko
It looks like Darko Milicic will be leaving the Celtics and heading back to Europe, according to Doc Rivers’ quotes from the Dennis and Callahan radio show this morning. While I think this has little to no effect on the team from a basketball perspective, it’s kind of sad from a fan perspective. It was fun to hope for the reincarnation of one of the biggest draft busts...
5 things to watch: Spurs vs. Celtics
The San Antonio Spurs (8-3) will take a trip to Boston as they face the Boston Celtics (6-5) at the TD Garden.
The Spurs are coming off a loss to the Clippers and will have to face the Celtics shorthanded. They will be without Kawhi Leonard and Stephen Jackson due to injuries thus leaving their frontcourt very thin.
The Celtics are coming off a big loss to the Pistons but...
Preview: San Antonio Spurs vs. Boston Celtics
The 8-3 San Antonio Spurs are coming into town and playing inthe Garden tonight at 7:30. I continue to consider the Spurs the ‘Celtics of the West’ as they both seem to have an aging core, a great head coach, and strong bench scoring. They are one spot ahead of the Celtics in assists per game (2nd to the Celtics’ 3rd), and both teams are having trouble rebounding the ball...
Celtics Game Recap: Parker, Duncan Lead Spurs over the Celtics 112-100
The Boston Celtics fell to the San Antonio Spurs tonight ,112-100 . Veterans Tony Parker and Tim Duncan combined for points 46 points. Here is Celticsblog’s Evans Clinchy recapping the game.
Home Court Advantage
I've heard several of the players this season talk about needing to establish themselves at home and make the Garden a place that opposing teams dread playing. They have the right idea in theory, but with just a 3-2 record at home, they haven't gotten it to the reality stage yet.
With 4 of the next 5 games at home, this would be a good time to start establishing that...
