The latest NBA rumors have the Sacramento Kings moving out of town and over to Virginia Beach, Va., where they would play in a brand new venue which would be funded by Comcast. This one comes courtesy of an article published by Inside Business. The Kings have made it known all along that they’d prefer to stay in Sacramento or the surrounding area, but the franchise hasn’t been able to get a deal from the city for a new arena. Other cities mentioned as a possible relocation for the club include Anaheim, and Seattle. In fact, Anaheim looked to be a done deal in 2011 when an agreement was in place between the city and the team. George Maloof Jr., who is a co-owner of the Kings, said that a few different cities have contacted him over the past several years about the possibility of moving the franchise.
