It seems that one Celtic who has been working non-stop throughout the summer has been Jeff Green. Green seems to be at every event that he is able to participate in, which should give Celtics fans some hope that he will improve upon his play from last seasons Playoffs. Green this weekend participated in the US Tracking Fleet Invitational in Oklahoma City this weekend with the likes of Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Jamal Crawford and Reggie Jackson as his team beat a team of Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Michael Beasley, Damien Wilkens, Johnny Flynn, and James Harden. Green put up 21 points, 8 rebounds, and five assists in a no-defense 176-171 Overtime victory.   Also playing this weekend were Celtics young guns Avery Bradley and E’Twan Moore. Both had forgettable games with Bradley scoring 7 points in his debut with his new Israeli club, Hapoel Jerusalem. Meanwhile Celtics rookie E’Twan Moore put up only two points in  Benetton Treviso’s 83-75 loss on Saturday.

Avery Bradley to be Cut

Celtics 2nd year point guard, Avery Bradley, who has recently been playing overseas in Israel is reportedly set to be cut from his squad in the coming days. Bradley is listed on an Israeli basketball statistics website as playing in only one game for Hapoel and scoring only seven points. Bradley signed a deal there with the option to opt out upon completion of a new CBA in the...

If The Big 3 Wins Again, It Will Be Behind Kevin Garnett.

Since coming to Boston Kevin Garnett has been a model Celtic. He hates losing more than he loves winning, his emotional charge could inspire anyone to run through a brick wall, his defensive tenacity has been the newfound backbone of the franchise, and his skill level, even at 35, is a sight to be seen at the power forward position. Before coming to Boston KG was still an absolutely...

Avery Bradley to be released from Hapoel Jerusalem, according to report

According to Rafael Uehara — a “managing figure of The Basketball Post, contributor at EuroLeague Adventures and unemployed dude,” according to his Twitter page — Avery Bradley will soon be released from Hapoel Jerusalem of Israel. (via Red’s Army)I don’t know whether this report is accurate. After all, Uehara is just some “unemployed dude” making comments on Twitter...

Your Morning Dump... Where Rondo talks about being ready

Rajon Rondo participated in the final game of UK's "Big Blue All-Stars" tour last night. His team fell to a "villains" team, that was coached by the anti-Wildcat, Christian Laettner. Rondo's steal in the final seconds of regulation helped his squad tie the game, but they eventually fell in OT 152-149.  Rondo did have 21 points and 14 assists in the game...

Delonte West Buys 'O.J. Simpson-Style' White Ford Bronco, Pushes It to Gas Station After It Breaks Down (Photo)

Delonte West really needs a full-time beat writer dedicated solely to covering his daily life. Without any actual games going on, West's schenanigans are the most interesting NBA-related news during the lockout. The latest proof of this came Monday when the free agent guard tweeted that he had purchased a white 1994 Ford Bronco, "O.J. Simpson style," for no discernible...

Delonte West Bought an O.J. Simpson Ford Bronco, Had to Push it to Gas Station

Delonte West is quickly becoming one of our favorite athletes because of the personality he’s displayed via social media. Back in August, he talked about taking a job at Home Depot during the lockout. Though that never worked out, he did end up with a job at a furniture store. Now he’s talking about buying [...]

Celtics Late Night Show Locked Out For One Week

Due to the fact that B-Paul and Nick can’t come to agreement on the split of BRI (Broadcasting Related Income), we have decided to cancel tonight’s episode of the Celtics Late Night Show. Nick and B-Paul are both demanding fifty-three percent of the BRI for the amount of hard work they put into each and every show. Unfortunately there is only 100% available so the negotiations...

Kevin Garnett will get $5 million a year after he retires

Kevin Garnett’s glare broke down the NBA negotiations a couple weeks ago. Well, that’s not the truth. The owners spun that story, but do you think they fold just when KG stares? Right. KG is intimidating but not THAT intimidating But it is fair to note that many of the hardliners from the players union…

What the Hell Happened to...Sidney Wicks?

This week in What the Hell Happened To we remember former power forward, Sidney Wicks. Wicks was a beast in college to say the least.  In his 3 seasons UCLA went 86-4 and won 3 national titles.  He helped bridge the gap between Lew Alcindor and Bill Walton. However Wicks' dominant college game and team success did not translate into team success in the pros.  The No. 2...

1988 Lockout Special: San Antonio Spurned

It’s boom times in the NBA as the Celtics traveled to Madrid to play, well, anyone, really. Whoever felt like they could keep up, I guess. The McDonald’s Open was all part of Commissioner Stern’s plan to ingratiate the Europeans with the game. Or maybe it’s all a plan to get the International Olympic Committee to let pros play (it’ll never happen. That would be like letting...
