Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans tweaked an ankle on Saturday's preseason debut and now word comes that the athletic wing will miss 1-2 weeks but luckily for New Orleans will be back for the regular season. It's good he won't miss much time but the Pelicans did need time to figure out how he fits into the rotations. With Eric Gordon already out nursing more ankle issues it...

Ryan Anderson plays through the pain

Ryan Anderson has had a clear upward trajectory for most of his career. Everything seemed to go right for the young power forward. After an average rookie year in New Jersey, he found the perfect fit with Dwight Howard and Orlando's shot-happy 3-point shooting offense. He parlayed it in to the NBA's Most Improved Player Award in 2011 and turned into one of the most efficient...

Pelicans beat Magic 99-95 behind Anthony Davis' 29 points

After three preseason games it's clearly obvious New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis is not the same caliber of player he was last season as a rookie. He’s better – much better – after spending nearly all of the off-season working to improve his offensive game. He’s got a go-to jump hook shot now can pull-up from 18 feet and effortlessly make jumpers and still...
