Word is that the New Orleans Hornets are shopping star shooting guard, Eric Gordon. This is puzzling, as he is an All-Star caliber shooting guard (a rarity in the league today) signed long-term. It is very difficult for a small market team to get talents like him and if they trade Gordon, it will be near impossible to get equal value, so why trade him? Yes, he has been injured the majority of the time since arriving in the Big Easy, but how many 24 year olds can score 20+ points on any given day. He is one of the most talented young players in the NBA and if he stays healthy, a probable All-Star, someday very soon. Paired with number one overall pick, Anthony Davis up front, they could form one of the best young duos in the NBA and guide the Hornets back to respectability and the playoffs very soon.
