The Celtics are headed to Orlando for a game Sunday night. In their last game they conquered old friend Kendrick Perkins and next up they face old friends Glen Davis and E'Twaun Moore. Big Baby is now the man in Orlando with Dwight gone and I'm sure he's enjoying it. I thought I'd include a video from Baby's last game to get everyone ready for the Magic game. I remember Baby doing this same thing quite often. I think he loves crowd surfing. [Discuss on CG Forums!]

The Orlando Magic would defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday 108-104, but it was during the 4th quarter that Glen Davis would give a highlight fans won’t soon forget. Davis was attempting to save the ball, when he plowed into the crowd and had a colossal wipeout. The post Glen “Big Baby” Davis Crashes Into Crowd (Video) appeared first on The NBA Mistress.

Video: Kendrick Perkins talks about going up against his former teammates

Nice to see old friend Kendrick Perkins back at the Garden. Below, Doc talks about how you can't evaluate a guy like Perk by his numbers. You don't get stats for setting picks or making guys think twice about driving the lane, because you may lay them on their asses. Miss Perk.

Family reunion time at the Garden

Thanksgiving weekend was the perfect time for  the Celtics to welcome their former teammate and brother Kendrick Perkins back to Boston. Perkins' wife Vanity posted these awesome shots on twitter last night. Above we see Perkins and his son with Pierce and his two daughters. Not sure I've ever seen KG smile so big. Here he poses with Perkins' wife and son. ...

Magic soar in 4th to defeat Cavaliers

Glen Davis does not know how to stop himself -- in fact he knows he can't. When the ball is bouncing toward the sideline with a chance to be save, he said he has to go for it. He has to try and sacrifice himself for his team. Fans just have to know either to catch him or get out of the way. As Davis soard over two, maybe three rows, of fans courtside at the Amway Center,...

Jeff Green isn’t very interested in the Oklahoma City Thunder

Most of us moved past the Kendrick Perkins/Jeff Green trade a while ago. Pre-trade 2010 isn’t walking through that door, and even if it did, given Perk’s OKC production, we may not like what we see.But for Jeff Green, the trade is still very much a part of his everyday life. Reporters still ask him about it. Fans still base their expectations for him on it. And because of the...

Vote: Who Would You Rather Have on the Celtics, Kendrick Perkins or Jeff Green?

Most of the Celtics have moved on from the pivotal trade a couple of seasons ago that sent defensive stalwart Kendrick Perkins to Oklahoma City, with Jeff Green coming north in return. While Danny Ainge‘s move got plenty of scrutiny that year, as the Celtics again fell short of their championship ambitions, Boston is now focused on its new set of guys and how Green will contribute...

Shootaround: Happy Homecomings

Boston Celtics (7-6) vs. Orlando Magic (5-7) 6 p.m. Glen Davis has been looking forward to this game for a while now. Not only are the Magic in the midst of a five-game home stand, one that could very well set their season in one direction or another. OK, maybe most people expect it to go south, but the Magic have to play the games and have a chance to get into the Playoff picture...

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Magic entered the holiday with a win against the Pistons. But the real meaning of the holiday for the Magic is the yearly community service the Magic participate in every year at this time. Jameer Nelson, Maurice Harkless, Glen Davis and Jacque Vaughn were among the players who went to the Coalition for the Homeless to serve meals this morning. The Magic have gone to the...
