Nike let slip a few images of the new LeBron X shoe, which might be interesting to you if you’re something of a shoe aficionado,  a LeBron James aficionado, or both. While the shoes may not attract much attention from the majority of people, there was something seen inside the Nike footwear, specifically something written on the sockliner, which provided quite a bit of fodder for bloggers and NBA conspiracy theorists alike. You see, printed on the sockliner, were the words “2-Time Champion” which probably wouldn’t have kicked up much of a fuss, except for one small problem—LeBron is, at the time the photos were leaked, still a one-time champion. What’s worse is that in the other sockliner the dates “11-12″ and “12-13″ are printed, meaning that someone at Nike shot their load a bit early in proclaiming the Heat NBA champions. Either that or the fix is in, as they say. Here are the sockliners in question… Nah, no way Stern set it up so that the Heat will be the eventual winner of this year’s championship. Then again, Joey Crawford is reffing Game 6 tonight in Miami, so maybe the conspiracy theorists are on to something.
