According to Yahoo Sports' Marc J. Spears, "Celtics Kevin Garnett won't receive suspension or fine for physical incident with Knicks Billy Walker, NBA says." (Just in case you missed the video from the altercation, click here).
Consider this a belated Christmas gift from the NBA, especially if the Celtics are without Pietrus and Pierce for Tuesday's game with the Miami Heat. Sherrod Blakely from Comcast Sports Net New England says that Pietrus will not be joining the team in Miami, and Pierce is still a question mark. So the lack of a KG suspension is music to any Celtics' fans ears.

Boston Celtics power forward Kevin Garnett will not face discipline from the NBA over an altercation with Knicks guard Bill Walker after Sunday's 106-104 loss, CBS Sports reported, citing a source.

The New York Knicks and Boston Celtics opened the 2011-12 season in excitable fashion, thrilling the Madison Square Garden crowd with a 106-104 Knick win. After missing a buzzer-beater that would have tied the...
Kevin Garnett will avoid punishment thanks to the good graces of the NBA and will join the 0-1 Boston Celtics on December 27th @ 8:00pm to take on the 1-0 Miami Heat.
Garnett, after bricking a game winning buzzer-beater against the Knicks, bullishly lunged at Bill Walkers throat before being saved by Baron Davis (of all people). Walker no doubt deserved it for running his...
Kevin Garnett is like that one uncle that’s always causing trouble on the holidays. He punches the boys in their chest or slaps them upside the head to get them to “man up”. True to form, Garnett hemmed up Knicks player Bill Walker (the two were on the Celtics together during Walker’s rookie season and even then, he wasn’t appreciative of KG’s rookie “welcome wagon”...
Kevin Garnett wasted little time showing his midseason form. And by midseason form, we don’t mean putting up strong stats for the Celtics; we mean being a ******* on the court.
KG missed a last-second jumper that could have tied the Celtics-Knicks game Sunday. It looks like his former teammate/current Knicks guard, Bill Walker, talked some trash to him after the brick. Garnett...
The NBA season returns on Christmas Day with five nationally televised games, which is just the right amount for fans to get their fill following more than five months without pro basketball. The Miami Heat were the dominant headline at the beginning of last season, but this year there are several storylines to watch. The Knicks and Clippers look forward to new eras, while the Lakers...
