No Guts, No Glory:
You know the drill. Take this all with a grain of salt. Especially since this particular report comes from our old pal Chris Broussard who is fresh off of “vacation”.
According to Broussard, one executive says the Magic will only trade Howard for a deal that is great for the Magic. Obviously.
And another says that Howard will start the season with the Magic and possibly be traded by the February trade deadline. Ok?
And then, each executive took the time to explain that this could just be posturing by the Magic in attempt to get a better deal. Well isn’t that a novel concept?
The Orlando Magic have told rival executives that they might not trade Dwight Howard after all, according to league sources.
An executive who has had discussions with the Magic regarding Howard said Orlando only will trade the star center in a deal that is great for the franchise. The executive said this has been Orlando’s stance for the past “week or so.”
Another executive who has talked with Orlando said he t...

Dwight Howard reportedly met with an Orlando Magic executive and reiterated his stance that he wants to be traded.
Can the Dwight Howard talks get any more theatrical? Right when rumors were being spread that the Magic wanted to deal Howard by August, there this report by Chris Broussard that the team may not deal Dwight at all or when a “great” opportunity presents itself. The Orlando Magic have told rival executives that [...]
Kevin Love, don’t take lessons from Dwight Howard. Sit back and realize that your franchise is trying to help you.
Kevin Love has developed into a pretty good player since he was drafted from UCLA. Many experts had him being undersized and said he wouldn’t pan out because of that. Actually he has been the opposite averaging in his four seasons 17 points 12 rebounds 2 assists...
Dwight Howard has rumored in so many deals that I lost count of them. These have been going on since last season’s NBA trade deadline. So as right now Howard is still a member of the Orlando Magic and according to a new report is might stay that way.
Chris Broussard from ESPN was told the Magic may not trade Howard after all.

So the Orlando Magic have come out and said they aren't going to trade disgruntled center Dwight Howard anytime soon. I guess this means more unnecessary drama will continue for the foreseeable future. Personally, I'm tired of hearing about Howard and his tendency to flip-flop depending on what time it is during the day. Another part of me says this is what Howard gets...

TSHQ Earth-Shattering Groundbreaking Story: Dwight Howard and Magic GM Rob Hennigan met in LA tonight apparently to discuss something. The question is, what did they discuss? Lucky for you, we here at TSHQ are privy to information regarding happenings around the league (because we run ****), and have the inside scoop on what exactly transpired behind closed doors. The following...
Just about everyone has expressed their exasperation over the Dwight Howard situation by now. The sports world is tired of hearing this story and everyone -- from players to fans to management -- want it over. Blame ESPN and the 24-hour news cycle, if you would like, for part of the over-coverage of this story with its reporting of "imminent deals" and backroom conversations...
By this time in July, NBA fans have typically already seen the biggest moves go down. The NBA's schedule makers are busy piecing together each team's 82-game schedule and talking with the TV networks about the games they want. That whole process and the next stage of the NBA's summer (perhaps the first stage, the one thing that should have been done back in December if...
The Rockets have been at the front of the offseason. Whether it was getting involved in Dwight Howard rumors or going after and signing Jeremy Lin, you cannot fault Daryl Morey for going out there and being active. Houston has been a middle of the Western Conference team for the better part of a decade. Always good enough to compete for a Playoff spot, never quite good enough to...
When the Lakers traded for Steve Nash and as they continue to pursue Dwight Howard, much has been made of their salary cap situation and their lack of depth.
Once the the Thunder eliminated the Lakers in the second round of the playoffs, rumors started flying immediately that the Lakers were going to trade Pau Gasol. Slowly the tide on those rumors turned a little bit when people...
