PLAYERS: Tim Duncan
TEAMS: San Antonio Spurs
This could be the greatest unintentional photo bomb of all-time.Seen here is a pair of NBA fans, presumably a father and son duo, one who roots for the San Antonio Spurs, and the other who roots for the Los Angeles Lakers. The two just happened to snap this photo at the same time that Spurs veteran Tim Duncan was also front and center on the television screen located behind them. The end result is an optical illusion that will live in sports infamy. As you can see, it appears as though Duncan is putting his arm around the fan on the left and whispering something into his ear. It's just an illusion, of course. But the fact that this photo was captured with such impeccable timing is mind-boggling.Via For the Win

Warriors Too Naïve, Too Good of Shooters To Fall to Spurs Again

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said after the game that it was “polite” of the Golden State Warriors to have Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry switch off games in which they were on fire from the field.
