But on Friday at Staples Center in Game 6 of a first-round Western Conference series, with his team's season on the line, Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph put all of that aside.
In bringing his team back from an eight-point deficit with eight minutes to play, Randolph had seven of 18 points in the final quarter as the Grizzlies rallied for a 90-88 victory to force a Game 7 on Sunday in Memphis.
"You just had to have the mindset that it was going to be physical, 48 minutes of pushing and arm-grabbing," said Randolph, who also had 16 rebounds and three blocked shots. "You just have to get ready to play that way."
