TEAMS: Boston Celtics, Charlotte Bobcats
Even without Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, the Celtics were too good tonight for the Charlotte Bobcats. The C's won it, 94-82.
Avery Bradley (22 points, 9-14 FG, 2-3 3 FG) has my undying faith. When he takes pull-up jumpers on the break, or spots up in the corner for 3, I fully expect him to make the shot. Incredible.
Rajon Rondo (20 points, 16 assists, 6 rebounds, 8 TOs in 43 minutes) dominated this game. He was in complete control. I was stunned to see the 8 TOs in his stat line.
Greg Stiemsma (8 points, 6 blocks, 4 steals) was a shot-blocking fool. His best block was an at-the-rim rejection of Bismack Biyombo. The Steamer is also developing some swagger, and deservedly so.
Brandon Bass remains a consistent weapon. Tonight he dropped 22 and 9. Ho-hum.
The Celtics led this game by 6-10 points for most of the night. But there was no doubt in my mind they were going to win this game.
So much for the daunting schedule. The Celtics have played 10 games i...

KG wins Player of the Week
Kevin Garnett has been as responsible for this Celtics resurgence as anyone, so this is quite fitting. Rondo's been getting a lot of attention lately, and rightfully so, for his gaudy assist numbers... but are the Celtics in this position without Kevin Garnett as well?
KG has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the week. Here's a look at his week.

Pierce not expected to miss time with toe injury
NESN.com, Ben Watanabe
Paul Pierce certainly sent a shiver up coach Doc Rivers' spine when the Celtics captain came up limping with a few minutes left in Saturday's 94-82 win over the New Jersey Nets. Rivers quickly sent in Sasha Pavlovic to replace Pierce, who jogged gingerly to the bench but waved off head athletic trainer Ed Lacerte.
Pierce's injury was not much...

Report: Ray Allen to Play for Celtics Tuesday Against Knicks
Six days of rest may have been the charm for Ray Allen. Brandon Bass, Role Players Step Up for Celtics Against Bobcats While Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett Rest
Pretty soon, Doc Rivers will leave people with no choice but to listen to him. He tried warning everyone that Avery Bradley was a gifted offensive player, and his words came to be true. He has also raved about the positive atmosphere in the locker room this season, predicting the good vibes would win the Celtics a few games they otherwise would lose. One of those games may have come...
Bradley and Bass help Celtics cruise past Nets: BOS 94 NJ 82
The Celtics had fallen down by as much as nine early in the game, but a strong third quarter had the C's pulling away from the New Jersey Nets in New Jersey, and they coasted to a 94-82 win. It was the last game the Celtics will ever play in New Jersey, as the Nets will be moving to Brooklyn.

Bradley Beal: The Next Ray Allen?
NBA prospect Bradley Beal is earning some high praise, and he hasn’t even done anything to deserve it, yet. Beal is considered, by most NBA scouts and draft analysts, to be a top five pick in this year’s NBA draft.
The highly rated shooting guard from the University of Florida has drawn comparisons to current NBA players, most notably: Eric Gordon and Ray Allen.
