Found March 01, 2013 on Red's Army:
Thanks to some aggressive defense by Avery Bradley and some creative defensive zones, the Celtics put the clamps on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors tonight.  Boston held Curry to 6-22 FGs and the Warriors to just 34% shooting for the game. The 94-86 win is Boston’s 8th straight at the Garden. The Green: As I predicted in the game preview, Paul Pierce (26 points, 9-15 FG, 8 rebounds, 4 assists) came out with a vengeance. He was very aggressive and attacked the basket (see just 3 three-point field goals). He had some troubles making passes (7 TOs), but overall Pierce was fantastic. Jeff Green (18 points, 8-13 FG, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks) carried the offensive burden in the 4th quarter (10 points). He took a hard fall on his hip and elbow but returned and played magnificently. Chris Wilcox (8 points, 4-4 FG, 7 rebounds and +20) played his ass off tonight. The Gross: Kevin Garnett shot 2-10 and was a team low -11. He did haul in 13 rebounds and passed Hakeem Olajuwon for 11th o...

The Captain is as healthy as he's going to be for the rest of the season

From WEEI Celtics blogger Ben Rohrbach: Pierce: Pinched nerve "probably been the reason I’ve been up-and-down a lot." VIDEO: greenstreet.weei.com/sports/boston/… — Ben Rohrbach (@brohrbach) February 28, 2013 Paul Pierce is one tough SOB, the fact that he’s playing through a pinched nerve is unreal to me. I kind of wish this information would have come out after...

Paul Pierce says he won’t be fully recovered from the pinched nerve in his neck until after the season, and although it’s been bothering him for a few months, he will carry through and play on. Bradley leads C’s Sunday workout

As John wrote earlier today, Doc Rivers, Paul Pierce, Jet & KG were all absent from today’s workout. So who kept things organized while the vets & head coach were away? As Chris Forsberg tells us, it was none other than “Zero Tolerance”: Rajon Rondo is off rehabbing an ACL injury and the practice floor featured nearly as many newcomers (4) as guys who started the season...

Your Morning Dump… Where Avery Bradley wore down Stephen Curry

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. Avery Bradley had played a little more than half Curry’s 42 minutes, but it seemed like he was still guarding the Golden State shootist after the clubs left the parquet floor. “He’s tough,” said Curry, a...

Enemy Chatter: Stephen Curry destroyed Avery Bradley

We often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and bloggers are saying about the Celtics. Here’s a look at some enemy chatter from northern California. The second reason Curry impressed me is what he did to Avery Bradley. It can’t be overstated how great an on-ball defender Bradley is. He has achieved near-legendary status in Beantown already, in parts of 2 injury...

Tomorrow, the 30-27 Celtics will finally head home to host the Golden State Warriors. The Celtics are coming off of a pretty disappointing road-trip, in which they went just 2-3. They were able to make up for a 1-3 start partially with a terrific OT victory over the Jazz Monday night. Let's hope that they can carry that momentum into the Garden. Here are their five keys to victory...
