There were three centers on the roster for the Boston Celtics at the end of the 2010-2011 season. Now, only one of those remains.
First it was Shaquille O’Neal announcing his retirement. Then on that same day, Jermaine O’Neal gave us some good news by declaring that he was coming back for the final year of his two-year deal with the team. Now, Nenad Krstic is headed back to Europe to play for the defending Russian champions, CSKA Moscow.
According to InterBasket.net, Krstic has agreed to a two-year deal worth six million euros (around $8.76 million in U.S Dollars).
With the uncertainty of the NBA season, this may be a smart business move made by Krstic. Now instead of having his future in the NBA floating up in the air, Krstic has a guaranteed deal with CSKA Moscow.
