So while I was catching up on this week’s The Walking Dead, another group of Zombies were getting hacked up once again. I am referring to my beloved Toronto Raptors. This season is all about piling up the losses and getting a top pick. It is about teaching a new culture and turning the tide for the long term.
But as a fan, they are very much like The Walking Dead. Their outcome...
Anthony Carter appeared in 24 games with the Raptors.
Doug Smith is reporting the Toronto Raptors are set to either waive Anthony Carter or release him. Not a big shock, as the team is set at point guard with Jose Calderon eating up the majority of the minutes Jerryd Bayless with Gary Forbes providing spot duty when needed.
Carter was brought to town to provide a veteran leadership and the front office clearly feels they’ve gotten...
No TSN2 over here so it was all about the highlights for me. Glad to see the Toronto Raptors win a game.
DeMar DeRozan had 25 points and the Raptors slowed the high-scoring Golden State Warriors en route to an 83-75 win on Sunday night. Yep, that was the actual score.
From years past, that could of easily been the first half the way the Raps used to play defense and the way the Warriors...

With Amir Johnson unable to suit up tonight due to a knee injury, the Raptors were in a tough spot as they tried to battle Dwight Howard while shorthanded in their front court.
Heck, even when Toronto’s at full strength battling the behemoth, or, as Dwane Casey affectionately called him, “Monster,” it’s a tough enough proposition.
Things went about as expected as Howard exploded...
TORONTO (AP) -- Dwight Howard had 36 points and 13 rebounds, Ryan Anderson added 19 points and 13 boards, and the Orlando Magic beat the Toronto Raptors 92-88 on Monday night.
J.J. Redick scored 13 points, making a key 3 pointer in the final 10 seconds, and Jameer Nelson had 11 for the Magic, who have won five of seven and nine of 12.

The whole game seemed to have that feeling of imminent danger. Orlando was leading, but never quite by enough. Toronto was struggling, but had a run that would pull the team back in. No one was efficient enough offensively to be completely out of it. Both teams were potent enough offensively to possibly pull ahead if given the chance.
Dwight Howard was the bedrock of the offense...
