As the eighth-winningest coach in NBA history, Rick Adelman has coached with a resolve made of steel.
He recently said that needs of his family could outweigh the needs of the Minnesota Timberwolves at the end of this season.
Adelman stepped down from his duties for 11 games earlier this season to tend to his ailing wife Mary Kay who was hospitalized with a seizure disorder.
