We are missing some of the context for this photo, but someone’s grandmother is clearly a huge fan of Ricky Rubio. The 22-year-old Spaniard’s likeness adorns the giant blanket seen in the photo below, apparently given as a Christmas gift between generations in some family. Now, we would have to imagine that this isn’t the kind of item you can just go to Target and buy, even in Minnesota, so it figures that this was made from scratch. If so, it’s an impressive display of sewing abilities, and we’re sure Rubio himself would be proud. Rubio did, in fact, retweet this picture, so he clearly appreciates the effort. Check out the giant Ricky Rubio blanket in the image below. @rickyrubio9 Mom had a very Ricky Christmas!Grandma loves you!Feliz Navidad! twitter.com/ondeckdean/sta… — Dean Pierce (@ondeckdean) December 25, 2012

  • Who is Ricky Rubio?
  • I wonder where she places his mouth when she wraps it around her
  • Ese es Lodeiro, el jugador de Futbol Soccer del Botafogo del Brasil. JEJE
  • Actually you CAN go to Target or Walmart and buy one from the photo department. Not much of a reporter since you didn't even know that.
  • I thought the same exact thing!! I also think that it is poor reporting when you don't have the whole story. Maybe she had it done for her granddaughter for Christmas?? Who knows!
  • You can order blankets like this to be made from any picture you submit - usually, pretty cheap and poor quaility.
I very seriously doubt this was handmade!
