PLAYERS: Jermaine O`Neal
TEAMS: Phoenix Suns
It's not every day that you see an NBA game decided by a goaltending call at the buzzer, but it happened Tuesday night as a call on Phoenix Suns center Jermaine O'Neal resulted in a Houston Rockets victory. With the score tied at 98, Rockets guard James Harden took a 3-point shot from 25 feet away. The ball bounced off the rim and straight up in the air, but as it came back down, O'Neal swatted it off the rim. Replays confirmed that the referees made the correct call. Video via BI. Phoenix Suns were better off under Alvin Gentry

As we enter the final week of the NBA season, we usually examine the playoff races and who is or isn't squeaking into the postseason. For one team though, it's a time of reflection, and to ask what could we have done better? For the Phoenix Suns, the answer could be to not fire your head coach, Alvin Gentry, halfway through the season in the final year of his contract.Oh...

Suns' O'Neal goaltends winning 3

The Suns' less-than-stellar season just hit a new low. With the score tied, Rockets star James Harden heaved a 3-pointer as time expired. The ball clanged high off the rim and then Suns center Jermaine O'Neal reached up and goaltended it as he fought for position. Yes, he goaltended a game-winning 3-pointer. Don't believe it? Check it out. Even the Suns were speechless...

The Suns Twitter account is dismayed at Jermaine O'Neal's boner

Quite frankly, I didn't know Jermaine O'Neal was on the Phoenix Suns roster, let alone still in the league... until last night that is, when he came up with one of the most unique blunders in NBA history.  O'Neal goaltended a shot at the buzzer from James Harden... It's not like the Suns are going places this year, so if O'Neal is going to blow his...
