The Boston Celtics are off to a 0 and 2 and in last night’s loss to the Miami Heat one player had a very embarrassing moment. Celtics Rajon Rondo is one of the best point guards in the NBA. Rondo excels at attacking the rim and passing the ball; he is not a shooter. In Tuesday’s game against the Heat Kevin Garnett gave Rondo a perfect outlet pass that gave Rondo a clear lane to the basket. As Rondo was about to lay it in he saw Miami’s Dwyane Wade at the last second. This caused Rondo to hurry his shot, and he air balled a layup attempt. What a embarrassing moment for Rondo. This overshadowed his near triple double on the night. For the game he finished with 22 points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds. Check out the video attempt of Rondo’s layup below. Ricky Rubio will likely not score a ton of points on most nights, but he will likely wow you with this passing ability every night. In Rubio’s debut with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night he wowed fans with his flare...

Ricky Rubio dazzles in debut

While his numbers weren't dazzling (6 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds) in his NBA debut coming off the bench for the T-Wolves, the Spanish import did show flashes of the skill set which led to all the hype in the first place.

Stop talking Rondo for Westbrook trade, it’s a bad idea

In the wake of Russell Westbrook having a spat with Kevin Durant while at the same time the Boston Celtics are off to an 0-3 start, there’s been all sports of buzz on the Internet and talk radio about a Westbrook for Rajon Rondo trade. Stop it. Let it go. It doesn’t work. And it’s…

Will the Improved Play of Rajon Rondo Be Enough to Carry the Celtics?

How old is too old? The Boston Celtics could very well answer that question for us this season.  Since the Celtics won the title in 2008, there has always been talk of the current season being the Big Three’s “last chance.”  Experts said it two years ago when Boston lost in the NBA Finals.  They also said it last season and many are going with it again this year.  With...

Making the case for Rajon Rondo as a franchise player

We keep hearing rumors that Rajon Rondo is on the trade block — it had been for Chris Paul but the Celtics will listen to other offers, too. They are not going to move him for just anyone, but he’s not the easiest player to get along with and Boston is keeping its options open.…

Rajon Rondo Tries To Make Lay-Up, Fails Miserably (Video)

Honestly, I'm going to give Mr. Rondo a break since he was getting chased down by Miami's Dwayne Wade but the below lay-up is still pretty ugly: (Courtesy of Jose3030)

Ricky Rubio Dazzles for Timberwolves in NBA Debut (Video)

American basketball fans have heard the rumors for years, and on Monday many of them got their first look at Spanish star Ricky Rubio. He had six assists and no turnovers in his...

Ricky Rubio produces dazzling highlights in debut; Timberwolves lose to Thunder, 104-100

In a game BallinEurope’s been (half-)awaiting for years, Ricky Rubio debuted for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the team’s opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder last night. Though the Thunder won the game 104-100, Rubio impressed with six points, six assists, five rebounds (!), zero turnovers and his first NBA YouTube-worthy highlights. NBA dish no. 1 for the Spanish wunderkind...

As this comes out on a Friday, surely many of the achievements so far will gain...
