Larry Brown Sports:
Apparently this is the way to make a statement in the 2012 postseason. With the way he performed in Oklahoma City during Game 1 on Monday night, Russell Westbrook can wear anything he wants to his postgame press conference. The Thunder guard scored 27 points to go along with nine assists and seven rebounds in a dominant 119-90 victory. If you’re going to commit a fashion violation, I suppose that is the time to do it.
Those are fishing lures, right? And I’m guessing those glasses have no lenses in them. To be honest, the more I look at this the more I kind of think it’s a boss move. I’ll take Westbrook’s postgame attire over the awful look Nick Young was sporting during the first round any day.

Seriously, Him, Durant, and Harden are probably my favorite players in the NBA. Didn't even grow up a Thunder fan. These guys can strait up win games and the gear they rock is out of this world. Probably the best shirt I've ever seen. Someone tell me where I can buy this thing for my next fishing trip. Thunder in 6 games over the Heat in the NBA Finals.
After the Oklahoma City Thunder's Game 1 119-90 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, point guard Russell Westbrook made a fashion statement. He came out sporting a fishing shirt with some nice red glasses.I don't know if the shirt means anything about Derek Fisher or "fishing away" the Lakers, but Westbrook is definitely pulling off the outfit.Oklahoma City and...

Thunder All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook wore a pretty goofy outfit to Game 1′s press conference after he lit up the Lakers with 27 points. It’s a shame today we’re talking more about this outfit than the Thunder’s dominance. Definitely an interesting look. -TO

Point guard Russell Westbrook turned in a phenomenal performance in Game 1 of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Western Conference Semifinals series against the Los Angeles Lakers, recording 27 points while dishing out 9 assists and pulling down 7 rebounds as the Thunder throttled the Lakers 119-90. What makes his impressive stat line all the more [...]
Last night Russell Westbrook was cooking like he was a hibachi ( no disrespect to agent zero). Westbrook had 27 points and 9 assist in about 3 quarters of work exposing the Lakers for their inability to handle a dominate point guard. Basically in a nutshell here is what happened in Oklahoma City last night:
The Thunder did whatever they wanted. That’s all
The Thunder were...
OKLAHOMA CITY Russell Westbrook went to the bench right before the end of the third quarter. Kevin Durant was right behind him.
They didn't return. Didn't need to.
This one was over well before Durant and Westbrook spent the fourth quarter laughing and cutting up from the front row.

Even though Kevin Durant was the Oklahoma City Thunder player who finished second in the NBA MVP voting, it was Russell Westbrook who really crushed the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals. So the Lakers came back in Game 2 Wednesday night with a new plan against Westbrook: No more Kobe Bryant trying to stay in front of Westbrook and fight solo through...
OKLAHOMA CITY—The Thunder smacked the Lakers in Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal series. There are nicer ways to say it but the way that the Lakers lost this one was not pretty.

In game one of the Western Conference semi-finals between the Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. One team came out ready and fully engaged, the other… Lakers get blown out in game one, 90-119. Turnovers and no defense of the pick & roll were huge factors plus the Thunder shot extremely well. But that’s how [...]
Russell Westbrook’s puerile wardrobe may be the only thing juvenile about him as he showed vs. L.A. in Game 1.
Monday night, RUSSELL WESTBROOK, KEVIN DURANT and the rest of the OKC Thunder showed that having more than a week off only enhanced their moxie as they trounced the Los Angeles Lakers 119-90 in Game 1 of their West semi-final series. Yet if you hadn’t seen Westbrook...
Over the last 13 NBA seasons, there have been only three teams from the Western Conference to play for an NBA championship.
The Oklahoma City Thunder may get the chance to eliminate each of these three powerhouses in their 2012 playoff run towards the NBA Finals.
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are leading the Thunder and would could be a historic playoff run.

TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager was doing a live segment in the stands during the Lakers vs. Thunder game on Monday night when a Thunder fan tries to get back to his seat but is blocked by Sager. The fan seemed oblivious to what was going on or didn't care. Who can blame the fan though if he didn't want to miss another exciting play from Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook...
The Oklahoma City Thunder came into Game 1 against the Lakers after a layoff of over a week.
Many were calling into question whether or not the young Thunder team would be affected by this long layoff, but a 119-90 win over the Lakers proved that they were only helped by the time off.

10) One of these games, the Lakers are going to get the Thunder's stars to not dress goofy in the post-game remarks9) If Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are going to make defensive stops to win games, that's a whole new way for the Thunder to win8) Andrew Bynum thinks the Lakers did almost everything right tonight while losing, which is further proof that the Lakers aren...
